You would have to modify the bias circuit.
Maybe the tubes are too big to fit in the sockets (too close side by side or donīt fit at all).

Different Impedance(due to KT66) should work with the output transformer(thx for xtra info to Eddie at Eurotubes :o)

Is it EL34 or 6L6GC Blackmore?
